Your pet is a part of the family, so of course you’d love to bring them with you everywhere you go. Unfortunately, this isn’t always possible. Do you have a plan in place for the next time you have to leave town and can’t bring your animal companion along? Why not bring them to a place where they already feel comfortable, and they’ll be surrounded by familiar faces? Bridge Street Veterinary Hospital offers full service boarding in our clean, comfortable and modern boarding facility. Your pet will be treated like royalty while you can rest easy knowing they are in good hands while you’re away.
Guests of our facility can enjoy all of the amenities they need to feel right at home, all provided by us, such as clean, comfortable bedding and food and water bowls. Of course, you may feel free to bring your own if you feel it would make your pet’s stay a little more comfortable. You’re also welcome to bring favorite toys and other personal items that are washable. We are happy to provide food and treats at no extra charge, although eating their own food tends to agree better with most boarded pets.
We are happy to accommodate any special requests that you may have for your pet whenever possible. Just mention your needs when you call to schedule your companion’s stay. We can even provide grooming services before you pick up your pet if you’d like to provide a little extra pampering and arrive home to a clean, fresh smelling animal!
Boarding at BSAH is an especially helpful option if your pet has special needs or requires medical attention while you are away. Qualified veterinary technicians are available to keep a close eye on your companion, and our caring kennel staff carefully monitor the boarding area. We are also able to administer any medication your pet requires during his or her stay. You have the added benefit of knowing that one of our clinicians will promptly begin treatment if your pet becomes ill during his or her stay. We can even arrange for one of our veterinary team members to provide overnight monitoring for senior pets or those with certain health issues.
For the safety and comfort of our staff and other boarding guests, we require pets that are boarding with us to be current on their rabies and distemper vaccinations, along with other species-specific vaccinations. We also require that most vaccinations be given at least 2 weeks before boarding. If you have questions about these requirements or need to schedule an appointment to have your pet’s vaccinations updated, please contact us several weeks prior to your pet’s scheduled stay.
Traveling can be stressful enough without having to worry about who will care for your animal family member. Let us take some of the stress out of your next trip. We’d love to become your pet’s home away from home!
