Ever since I was young, I’ve loved every single animal I’ve met. I have 2 cats, a dog, and lots of fish, but I still want to adopt all of the animals in need of a home. I believe that each and every animal deserves the best care possible, no matter what. I always knew I would end up working with animals, so doing my co-op placement at a vet clinic seemed perfect, and it turned out to be the best educational experience I’ve ever had. I’m so grateful that I’ve had this opportunity to meet wonderful people (and pets!), gain hands on experience, and know for sure that I want to pursue a career in the veterinary field. My goals for the future are to apply to programs including Zoology at the University of Guelph and Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Dalhousie University, and I eventually hope to apply to the Ontario Veterinary College.
